PUTEREA DE A ÎNVINGE
Bog’Art Foundation and the National Paralympic Committee are launching the “Puterea de a Învinge /The Power to Overcome” campaign, a project that brings to the forefront the stories of Romanian Paralympic athletes and their journeys towards elite performance.
Projects like this are important for promoting Paralympic athletes and supporting the development of adaptive sports in Romania.
The campaign includes four video stories created together with Romanian Paralympic athletes from different disciplines. Each athlete has an impressive journey and a shared goal: to compete at the 2028 Paralympic Games in Los Angeles.
One of the videos focuses on Anda Arghir, a para archery athlete. After an accident that changed her life, Anda discovered the sport and achieved significant results in a short period of time. Under the guidance of coach Eugen Pătru, she became a national champion and went on to represent Romania in international competitions.
The campaign also features Darius Dumitru, an athlete competing in paratriathlon and swimming. Born with paraplegia, Darius became a world champion in paraduathlon in Ibiza and finished in the world’s Top 8 in the 100-meter freestyle, S7 class, at the Toyota World Championships in Singapore. His achievements also include a national paratriathlon championship title, a gold medal in the 200-meter freestyle and a bronze medal in the butterfly event, all won in Berlin in 2022.
Another video features Alexandru Bologa, the first Romanian Paralympic judo champion. He won bronze medals at the 2016 and 2021 Paralympic Games, and in 2024 he claimed the gold medal in the -73 kg category.
The fourth video presents Gabriela Bantaș, a member of the Romanian National Para Canoe Team. Born without tibias, Gabriela won the national titles in Women’s Va’a VL3 and Women’s KL1 in 2025 and continues to train consistently for international competitions.

The initiative is part of the 2026 strategic partnership between the Bog’Art Foundation and the National Paralympic Committee and aims to support adaptive sports, promote inclusion, and increase the visibility of Romanian Paralympic athletes.
